This is an interesting piece of medical news. I have to do some more research to wrap my head around this. Genetically engineered "Bacteroids" that deliver KGF-2 human growth factor sounds very science fiction, to be sure. I neither know what KGF-2 or Barteroids are. But I suppose they are a fancy engineered form of probiotics that help deliver medication. I wonder if there are certain things you should eat to made probiotic pills more effective? Maybe that's why yogurt is so healthy - it has the probiotic and the lactose that they like to eat all in one package.
