Last year I joined an outfit called BzzAgent, that lets you try products, and get coupons and deals, in return for helping the companies get word of mouth about their products. You always have to disclose that you are a member of Bzzagent, got something for free, etc. Then after you try their product and talk to your friends about it, you go to their website and write a short report about the conversation. Its a pretty low key thing.
The best part is getting to try new things. I joined a campaign for a new fruit/juice product called Fruit2Day. It comes in the produce section, next to the cut fruits. Its a strange little concoction - its pieces of fruit (mine was pears) in a thick juicy puree. For example the one I just tried was the Cherry Grape. The ingredients are "Applejuice from concentrate and puree, banana puree, pear pieces, red grape juice puree from concentrate, cherry puree, acerola cherry juice from concentrate, and natural flavor."
It is very tasty. The pear chunks are weird to drink out of a bottle, its something you have to try and get used to. But what a handy way to get fruit in your diet, even on the go. I don't think the small bit of pear chunks would bother my particular brand of Crohn's. They don't have any skin or seeds, and are "flash pasteurized." They taste a little bit like canned pears to me, in a juicy cherry juice.
Here's a link to a 1$ off coupon on Fruit2Day if you want to give this stuff a try - remember to chew your drink. LOL.
