I myself am very sensitive to adhesive on my skin. Even those super duper "bandaids" they put on after they do a blood test make my skin all red and sometimes bruise when I remove the bandage. I have learned to take a shower and let the hot water soften the adhesive up instead of just pulling them off. But this stuff seems like it would be handy so I am going to sign up for the sample.

Printable Tracking Card - For tracking, you know...

On this blog I don't tend to talk about the bowel movements and related subjects.  I mean, who wants to read about it?  Pas, moi.  However, today I break my rule to show you a nice printable card where you can track what's going on for your doctor.  So when you go to the Gastroenterologist and she/he asks you all those embarrassing questions you can pull out the card and all the facts are there.

Free Sample of Total Blueberry Pomegranite Cereal

This is obviously a "Your Mileage May Vary."  If your Crohn's is severe or in flare up mode you will not want to eat dried fruit.  But if you are in a good place, digestively speaking, the anti-oxidants in the dried fruit are healthy in theory.  Blueberries and Pomegranate are both on the list of anti-inflammatory foods.

Trying Curamin Curcumin Supplement

A few weeks ago I signed up for a free Sample of Curamin Curcumin dietary supplement.  Yesterday I received two sample packs with 3 pills in each - they say take 2 a day.  I will take them for three days and let you know how I feel.

I hope I don't start smelling like curry. :-)

I heard about a Freebie offer to try a Free Sample of Curamin Curcumin dietary supplement that I wanted to pass along.  Personally I'd just as soon make some Turmeric flavored rice.  I mean, I take so many pills I don't want to add one more.  However, I present the idea just in case you want to give it a try this is a perfect way to try it with a free sample.  I liked that this manufacturer did not have all kinds of crazy claims, and presented some good articles about the benefits of Curcumin.

The Crohn's Disease info website CrohnsOnline is giving away a free cookbook.  They say it is that it is a Free Crohn’s Cookbook, featuring "easy-to-follow recipes for patients with Crohn's disease."

The web site also offers the free book 100 Questions & Answers About Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis covers a wide range of topics, from diagnosis and treatment to diet and lifestyle.  This is a pretty good book - I have it and read it.
