Medical ID Bracelets for Crohn's

Is it necessary to wear a medical alert bracelet for Crohn's disease?  I don't wear one but I have seen some that are really attractive.  If its a nice looking gold (yellow please, if you are shopping for me) bracelet I would probably wear it.  I like the ones that have a space for a piece of paper where you can list all of your medications and stuff.

Could a Phiten Star Necklace Give Pain Relief?

Here's another "no-one can explain why it works" item for your collection: the Phiten Star Necklace.  Supposedly these are made with liquefied titanium that is built into the cloth necklace (and other stuff).

 The idea seems to be something about the human body's electromagnetic field or some such nonsense. 

According to the manufacturer's website the titanium helps to:

"regulate the body's natural electric currents through cell ionization"

Sure, yeah.  Sounds good.  The truth of the matter is that lots of pro athletes are wearing the stuff.  It comes in the form of trendy necklaces, little sports patches, and even built into compression tape and shorts.
